The competent authority has approved the extension of deputation tenures for several officers within the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Ms. Sudha Singh, IPS, and Shri A. Jayadevan, IPS, both serving as DIGs in the CBI, have each been granted a two-year extension beyond their current tenure end dates, until July 28, 2026, and June 2, 2026, respectively. Dr. Navdeep Singh Brar, IPS, currently serving as SP in the CBI, has been granted a three-year extension, his tenure now ending on July 29, 2027.

Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for:-
(i) Extension in deputation tenure of Ms. Sudha Singh, IPS (OD:2006), DIG, CBI for a period of two years beyond 28.07.2024 i.e. upto 28.07.2026 (7 years in total).
(ii) Extension in deputation tenure of Shri A. Jayadevan, IPS (MP:2008), DIG, CBI for a period of two years beyond 02.06.2024 i.e. upto 02.06.2026 (7 years in total).
(iii) Extension in deputation tenure of Dr. Navdeep Singh Brar, IPS (AGMUT:2012), SP, CBI for a period of three years beyond 29.07.2024 i.e. upto 29.07.2027 (7 years in total).
