A notification from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension establishes the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal. This is done by exercising powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. The Central Government’s decision comes upon receiving a request from the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The tribunal will be effective from the date of its publication in the Gazette of India, which will be considered the “appointed day” as defined by clause (c) of Section 3 of the Act.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th December, 2014
G.S.R. 926(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by of sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government, on receipt of a request in this behalf from the Government of Himachal Pradesh, hereby establishes the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal with effect from the date of publication of this notification in Gazette of India, which shall be the “appointed day” within the meaning of clause (c) of Section 3 of the said Act.
