The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, has officially notified the establishment of the Kerala Administrative Tribunal. This action was taken in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, following a request from the Government of Kerala. The tribunal will be effective from August 26, 2010, which is designated as the ‘appointed day’ as per the Act. The notification has been forwarded to various judicial and administrative bodies, including the Supreme Court and High Court registrars, and the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department of Kerala. It has also been requested that the notification be uploaded to the Ministry’s website.

साः.का.नि. 705(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, प्रशासनिक अधिकरण अधिनियम, 1985 (1985 का 13) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए इस संबंध में केरल सरकार से प्राप्त अनुरोध के आधार पर 26 अगस्त, 2010 से केरल प्रशासनिक अधिकरण की एतदृद्धारा स्थापना करती है जो कि इस अधिनियम के खण्ड 3 की धारा (ग) के प्रयोजन से “नियत दिन” होगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th August, 2010
G.S.R. 705(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government, on receipt of a request in this behalf from the Government of Kerala, hereby establishes the Kerala Administrative Tribunal with effect from the 26th day of August, 2010 which shall be the ‘appointed day’ within the meaning of clause (c) of Section 3 of the Act.
