Establishment of Central Secretariat Club for Government Employees

Following recommendations from the 2nd Pay Commission, a circular announces the recognition and facilities available at the ‘Central Secretariat Club’ for Central Government employees in Delhi. The club, registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, offers amenities like a bar & restaurant, yoga sessions, a library, billiards, table tennis, a badminton court (currently under maintenance), carrom, and card games. Employees residing in Delhi can contact the club via email to utilize these facilities.

CIRCULAR

Consequent upon recommendations of the 2nd Pay Commission, that a recreation Club should be set up to cater the needs of Central Government employees, the ‘Central Secretariat Club’ was recognised by this Department and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

At present the following facilities are being provided at the Club:-

(i) Bar & Restaurant
(ii) Free Yoga sessions (05:00 PM to 06:00 PM – Monday to Friday)
(iii) Reading – cum – Library Room
(iv) Billiards Tables
(v) Table Tennis
(vi) Badminton Court (undergoing maintenance at present)
(vii) Carrom Board
(viii) Card Games

The Central Government officials residing in Delhi, who wish to avail the facilities at the Club may contact at email: CentralSecttClub@gmail.com.
