Subject: Election of Central Government Employees Residents Welfare Association, Type- II, III & IV, Sector-5, R.K.Puram, New Delhi for the block year 2023-25.
Sir,
I am to refer to your letter dated 23.02.2024 vide which result of the election of CGERWA, Sector-5, R.K.Puram, New Delhi held on 11.02.2024 alongwith dossiers had been submitted for acceptance of this Department.
- In this regard, it is mentioned that various complaints were received from the residents of Sector 5, R.K. Puram against AWO/RO during the election process and against the election result also. The matter has been examined thoroughly. It has been found that candidature of the contestants, namely, Sh. Abhimanyu Rai and Sh. Mahipal Singh were cancelled deliberately by replacing the 1st page of the nomination form of Sh. Mahipal Singh fraudulently so as to make same proposers for both the candidates. As such, election of the CGERWA,Sector-5, R.K.Puram, New Delhi did not held in a fair and transparent manner. Therefore, it has been decided that the election of the CGERWA, Type II, III & IV, Sector-5, R.K.Puram, New Delhi held on 11.02.2024 may be treated as null and void.
- This issue with the approval of Chief Welfare Officer.
