OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Draft Revised Common Seniority List (CSL) of Assistant Section Officers’ Grade of Central Secretariat Service of recruitment years 2004-2008.

Reference is invited to this Department’s O.M of even number dated 10.01.2018 on the subject noted above.
2. The draft CSL in respect of ASOs of CSS cadre for the recruitment years 2004-2008 was forwarded therewith and the same is still available in the website of DoPT (www.dopt.gov.in-About Us-Central Secretariat-Central Secretariat ServiceSeniority List-Assistants).
3. In response to the above O.M., discrepancies/corrections were pointed out by Ministry of Housing and U.A vide their O.M. dated 26.04.18. However, there has been no response from other participating Ministries/ Departments of CSS.
4. Hence, all the Ministries/Departments are again requested to bring the above CSL to the notice of all the ASOs concerned and forward discrepancies/corrections if any, to this Department (CS-I) latest by 31.05.2018.
5. The discrepancies/corrections in regard to name, date of birth, category, Select List, Rank No., Name of the Ministry/Department, date of joining, present status of ASO (SO-LDCE qualified/retired/resigned/VRS taken, transferred under RTP etc.) may be communicated to this Department by 31.5 .2018 either through fax (24624046/ e-mail (ksrinivasan.89@nic.in)/ or by hand).
6. DoPT (CS-I Division) will not be responsible for any omission/corrections, if brought out to the notice of this Department after 31.05.18, and Ministries/Departments, where the ASOs are presently working would be solely responsible for the same as promotion to the post of Section Officer on adhoc basis/regular basis will be based on the information available with the above CSL.7. This seniority list would be subject to the final outcome of the O.A. No. 590/2013 in CAT, New Delhi and O.A. No. 823/2013 in CAT, New Delhi and also any other court case pending in any court or/and order issued by any competent court in any of the connected matters, apart from the above.
