This document communicates the Government of India’s decision on the representation filed by Shri Manmohan Khandwal, an OT Technician. Following a High Court direction from January 5, 2007, a committee considered Shri Khandwal’s representation. The committee noted that the post was not included in the notification for the bifurcation of posts between the successor states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, and no such post was allotted to Uttarakhand. Consequently, the committee recommended rejecting the representation. The Government of India has accepted this recommendation, and Shri Manmohan Khandwal will continue to be allocated to Uttar Pradesh. The concerned officer is to be apprised of this decision.
