Subject: Decision on the representations of Shri Jugal Kishore Bhatt in compliance of Hon’ble High Court Nainital’s directions in – W.P. No.590(S/S)/2007 –
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the directions of the Hon’ble High Court, Nainital in W.P. No. 590(S/S)/2007 dated 25.5.2007 and to say that the representations of Shri Jugal Kishore Bhatt, Block Organizer, Home Guards was considered by the Committee headed by Dr. S.K. Sarkar, Joint Secretary in its meeting held on 23.6.2009. The Committee found that Shri Bhatt is at S.No.14/15 of the Seniority list whereas only 13 post of Block Organizer were given to Uttarakhand. Shri Bhatt was not included in the TFAL being junior optee. Hence, the Committee recommended for rejection of representation seeking allocation to Uttarakhand.
The Government of India has accepted the recommendations of the Committee and accordingly. Shri Jugal Kishore Bhatt, Block Organizer, stands allocated to Uttar Pradesh. Officer concerned may kindly be apprised of the position.
