In a recent administrative review, a government employee, Shri Sohan Lal Kala, a Radio Station Officer in the Police Radio Department, has been confirmed to continue his service in Uttarakhand. Initially, Shri Kala had sought a revision of his allocation to Uttar Pradesh, citing his wife’s mental illness as the reason. However, in a subsequent communication, he expressed a change of heart, requesting that his original representation be withdrawn. His family circumstances had evolved, leading him to prefer remaining in Uttarakhand. An Advisory Committee diligently considered this revised request and recommended that he should indeed continue in Uttarakhand. This recommendation has now been accepted by the Government, ensuring his allocation to Uttarakhand remains unchanged.

Subject : Consideration of representation of Shri Sohan Lal Kala, Radio Station Officer, Police Radio Department (Home) by the Advisory Committee in its meeting held on 15-062011.
Sir,
I am directed to say that Shri Sohan Lal Kala, Radio Station Officer, Police Radio Department (Home) has earlier represented for revision of his allocation to the State of Uttar Pradesh on the ground of mental illness of his wife. However, vide his letter dated 10-06-2011, has requested that his earlier representation may not be acted upon as he does not want to revert to Uttar Pradesh as his family circumstances have changed.
2. The Advisory Committee considered his representation and in view of his request, recommended for continuing him in Uttarakhand.
3. The Government of India has considered the recommendations of the Committee and accordingly, allocation of Shri Sohan Lal Kala, Radio Station Officer, Police Radio Department (Home) to Uttarakhand shall remain unchanged. The official concerned may kindly be apprised of the position.
