Ensuring fair and just administrative decisions is a cornerstone of good governance. Recently, a significant ruling by the Hon’ble High Court of Nainital prompted a review of a personnel allocation matter. Following this directive, a dedicated committee diligently examined the representations concerning the posting of a Radio Inspector, Shri Digvijay Singh Parihar. The committee’s findings revealed a seniority consideration, where Shri Parihar was found to be senior to another officer whose initial posting preference had shifted. Consequently, the committee recommended that Shri Parihar’s request for allocation to Uttarakhand be honored. This recommendation has now been officially accepted and implemented by the Government of India, underscoring the commitment to addressing individual grievances and upholding judicial mandates in public service.
