- All concerned Ministries/Departments, where the officers are presently working, are requested to relieve the officers to join the Ministry/Department where they have been nominated on or after 01.09.09 without waiting for a substitute to enable them to avail their regular promotion to Selection Grade in the CSS. Substitutes will be provided by DOP\&T in due course.
- The pay and allowances etc of officers are to be fixed under FR 22(1)(a)(i) with effect from the date of taking over the charge of Deputy Secretary on regular basis. The officers are, however, eligible for notional fixation of pay with effect from $1^{\text {st }}$ July of the Select List year.
