This document serves as a corrigendum to an Office Memorandum dated March 16, 2016, concerning a report by a committee chaired by Dr. Devesh Chaturvedi. The committee was tasked with examining recommendations related to suo motu disclosure under Section 4 of the RTI Act, 2005. The correction specifies that in paragraph 2(2) of the original memorandum, “RTI Rules, 2010” should be read as “RTI Rules, 2012”. The inconvenience caused by this error is regretted. The corrigendum is issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training) and is directed to all Ministries/Departments, with a copy sent to NIC for website upload.

CORRIGENDUM
Subject: Report of the Committee set up under the chairmanship of Dr. Devesh Chaturvedi, Joint Secretary, DoPT to examine the recommendations of the Committee of Experts on suo motu disclosure under Section 4 of the RTI Act, 2005.
I am directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 16.03.2016 on the subject noted above and to say that in para 2(2) of the above Office Memorandum “RTI Rules, 2010” may be read as ‘RTI Rules, 2012’. Inconvenience caused, if any, is regretted.
