This document is a corrigendum issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training. It partially modifies an earlier Office Memorandum (O.M) dated 25.10.2018 concerning the promotion of Personal Assistants (PAs) of the Central Secretariat Service Scheme (CSSS) to Private Secretaries (PSs) of CSSS on an ad-hoc basis. Specifically, it clarifies that the appointment to the grade of PS on an ad-hoc basis will take effect from the date the officer assumes charge as a Private Secretary within the respective Ministry/Department. All other terms and conditions of the previous O.M. dated 11.09.2018 remain unchanged. This is an urgent notification to all cadre units participating in CSSS.

CORRIGENDUM
In partial modification of this Department’s O.M No. 4/2/2018.CS.II(A) dated 25.10.2018 regarding promotion of PAs of CSSS to PSs of CSSS on ad-hoc basis and to say that the para 7 may be read as under:
“………………It may be noted that the appointment to the grade of PS on ad-hoc basis will take effect from the date of assuming the charge of the post of Private Secretary in the Ministry/Department to which the officer will be allocated. $\qquad$ .”
2. The other terms and conditions of the OM of even number dated 11.09.2018 will remain unchanged.
