CORRIGENDUM/ADDENDUM
Subject:-Non-Functional Selection Grade (NFSG) in the grade of SSAs of CSCS-Issue of zone of Select List 2014 and 2015(Part)-Regarding.
In partial modification of this Department’s OM of even number dated 19^{th } July, 2016, the name of following retired SSAs are deleted from the list of officials to whom NFSG was granted as they are not eligible for grant of NFSG in terms of this Department’s OM No.12/1/2015-CS.II(B) dated 30.09.2015 wherein it was clearly stated that:- “The officers, who were in service on crucial dates but had retired as LDC/UDC (adhoc) subsequently on superannuation or otherwise, should also be considered for inclusion of their names in the aforesaid Select List of UDCs in pursuance of this Department’s OM No. 22011/4/98-Estt.D dated 12.10.1998 to identify the correct zone of consideration for the relevant Select List. However, their appointment should not be notified as retired persons would not be available for actual promotion from a prospective date.”

- Para 4(i) of this Department’s OM No. 12/3/2016-CS.II(B) dated 19th July, 2016 may be read as follows:-
“Grant of NFSG of Rs.4200/- to all the SSAs included in the zone as prescribed in para 3 above from the date mentioned against their names till their promotion/retirement/VRS/death/Resignation etc after following due procedure as per OM dated 22nd June, 2011. The pay fixation of the officials may be done under Rule 13 of CCS(Revised) pay Rules, 2008 and other relevant instructions on the subject. The financial implications would have to be met by respective Ministries/Departments. NFSG orders need to be issued only in respect of the officials who have become regular SSAs on inclusion in SL-2004-2009 i.e. the officials who have retired/expired/resigned/taken VRS prior to the date of conduct of DPC for SL-2004-2009 are not eligible for grant of NFSG as only regular SSAs are eligible for grant of NFSG in terms of OM No.20/49/2009-CS.II(B) dated 22.06.2011.
- All Ministries / Departments are requested to take the necessary action accordingly.
