This office memorandum details the extension of ad-hoc appointments for Section Supervisors of CSCS working as Assistant Section Officers (ASO) within the CSS. OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: – Continuation of ad-hoc appointment in the grade of Assistant Section Officer of CSS-reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 29th December, 2015 on the subject mentioned above, vide which Cadre Units were permitted to grant ad-hoc promotion in the grade of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) up to 30.06.2016. Further continuation of these appointments has been reviewed in this Department and as regularization of these ad-hoc ASO may take some more time due to ongoing litigations, it has been decided that the period of the ad-hoc appointment of those SSAs of CSCS who are working as ASO of CSS on ad-hoc basis may be extended up to 31.12.2016 or till they are appointed on regular basis, whichever is earlier.
- Continuance of ad-hoc appointment shall not confer on the appointees any right to continue in ASO Grade indefinitely or for inclusion in the Select List of ASO of CSS or to claim seniority in ASO Grade of CSS.
- Other terms and conditions mentioned in the relevant OMs will remain unchanged.
- Copies of the order along with the details of the officials (date of birth, date of joining, Rank No., Select List Year, etc) may be endorsed to this Department for record.
