This Office Memorandum details the extension of ad-hoc appointments for Steno Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) positions within the Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS). Due to delays in regular recruitment processes, the terms of existing ad-hoc appointees are extended until June 30, 2010, or until regular stenographers become available, whichever comes first. Existing terms and conditions of prior Office Memorandums remain in effect, and a Hindi version of this notice will be released. This impacts all cadres of the CSSS.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Sub: Continuance of ad-hoc appointments in Steno Grade ‘A&B (Merged) of CSSS ( designated as P.S) -reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 7.9.2009 & 27.10.2009 on the subject mentioned above and to say that further continuance of these ad-hoc appointments has been reviewed in this Department. Since availability of regular Stenos Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS through normal modes of recruitment prescribed under the CSSS Rules may take some more time, it has been decided that the term of ad-hoc appointments in the Steno Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS may be extended for a further period upto 30.06 .2010 or till regular Stenos Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS become available, whichever is earlier.
- Other terms and conditions mentioned in the above referred O.M. will remain unchanged.
