This Office Memorandum details the extension of ad-hoc appointments for 529 Stenos Grade ‘C’ of CSSS as Stenos Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS, and 92 Steno Gr. C of CSSS as Steno Gr. ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS. The extension is granted for a further six months, until December 31, 2007, or until regular appointments are made, whichever comes first. This decision is due to delays in regular recruitment processes. All other terms and conditions from previous Office Memorandums remain in effect. The memorandum is addressed to all cadre authorities of CSSS.

Subject: – Continuance of ad-hoc appointments in Steno Gr. ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS (Designated as P.S.) on adhoc basis- regarding.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department O.M. of even number dated 28.12 .2006 on the subject mentioned above wherein cadres were permitted to continue the adhoc appointment of 529 Stenos Grade ‘ C ‘ of CSSS as Stenos Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS for the period upto 30.6.2007 or until further orders, whichever is earlier and O.M. of even number dated 1.3.2007 wherein cadres were permitted to promote 92 Steno Gr. C of CSSS as Steno Gr. ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS on adhoc basis initially for the period upto 30.6.2007 or until further orders, whichever is earlier and to say that that further continuance of these adhoc appointments has been reviewed in this Department. Since availability of regular Stenos Grade. ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS through normal modes of recruitment prescribed under the CSSS Rules may take some more time, it has been decided that the period of adhoc appointments made in the Steno Gr ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS vide above referred OMs may be extended for a further period of six months upto 31.12.2007 or till regular Stenos Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS become available, whichever is earlier.
- Other terms and conditions mentioned in the above referred O.M. will remain unchanged.
