The President of India has officially confirmed Shri Satyanarayan Rathore as a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Rathore, who belongs to the 2008 batch and the State Cadre of Chhattisgarh, has been confirmed in the IAS with retrospective effect from November 2, 2016. This confirmation is made in accordance with Rule 3-A of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954.
