All Area Welfare Officers (AWOs) and Presidents/Secretaries of CGERWAs are requested to organize activities like pledge ceremonies, ‘Shram Dan’ (voluntary labor), Prabhat Pheris (morning rallies), and painting/rangoli competitions. Participants are asked to upload photos of these activities to a specified portal and email address, with a consolidated report due by October 5th, 2023. The campaign aims to promote cleanliness and public participation in waste management.

Sir/Madam,
I am directed to refer to above mentioned subject and to say that Govt. of India is celebrating “Swachhata Hi Sewa- Garbage Free India” Campaign from 15^{th } September to 2^{nd } October, 2023.
- In view of above, all Area Welfare Officers (AWOs)/CGERWAs are requested to organise the activities as per schedule indicated below:

- All Area Welfare Officers/ CGERWAs are requested to ensure organisation of these activities in accordance with the guidelines/instructions as mentioned above and upload photos before and after cleanliness drive and activities of Prabhat Pheri, Painting and Rangoli competition on DDWS Portal (http://swachhbharatmission.gov.in/shs2023/). The photographs of the activities may be shared on regular basis at email ID : kb.malhotra@nic.in. A consolidated report may also be furnished by 5^{th } October, 2023.
