No.58 of 2006- Shri Sher Singh vs Union of India & Ors and linked cases/cases eligible for same treatment -Decision on the representations of the personnel belonging to Jail Department regarding –
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the directions of the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench ordered dated 12.12.2007 and to say that the representations of the following personnel of Jail Department were considered by the Committee headed by Joint Secretary(AT&A), Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India in its meeting held on 09.07.2010:

The Committee recommended to reject the representations of the above personnel for revision of allocation to Uttar Pradesh
The Government of India has accepted the recommendation of the Committee and accordingly the allocation of the above personnel of the Jail Department continues to be the successor State of Uttarakhand. Officers concerned may kindly be apprised of the position.
