The Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board has amended guidelines concerning free lodging provisions for participants in All India Civil Services (AICS) Tournaments. Previously, free lodging was provided for one day before and after the tournament. The amendment now stipulates that suitable lodging will be provided on a payment basis by the participants for the same duration. This change is effective immediately and applies to all states and union territories, as well as regional sports boards.

Sub: All India Civil Services (AICS) Tournaments- Conduct thereof and conditions– Changes in guidelines regarding provisions of free lodging.
Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board had vide letter No. 20/27/98-07 CCSCSB issued guidelines for the conduct of All India Civil Services Tournaments (amended upto 24.05.2010).
Para-10 (ii) of the Letter regarding facilities to be provided/expenses to be borne by the Host State is hereby amended as under:-

The above amendment will be applicable with immediate effect.
