CGEWHO Offers Subscription in Greater Noida Housing Scheme

The Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organisation (CGEWHO), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, is inviting applications for its Greater Noida housing scheme. This ‘No Profit-No Loss’ initiative aims to provide housing for Central Government Employees, State Government/PSU Employees, and the general public. The scheme features 2130 dwelling units at Plot No. 7, Sector P-4, Greater Noida, with approved rates starting at Rs. 3719 per sq. ft., inclusive of one covered car parking. Various configurations are available, including 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units, with prices ranging from Rs. 25 Lacs to Rs. 78 Lacs. Notably, there are no additional charges for Preferential Location Charges (PLC), lease rent, floor charges, EEC, FFC, or club membership. The project has received approvals from the Greater Noida authority, and construction is underway. CGEWHO highlights several advantages over private builders, including no profit motive, transparency through RTI coverage, stakeholder participation in project monitoring, and excellent connectivity to key areas and the proposed metro station. Warm Greetings !

Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organisation (CGEWHO), an Autonomous Body of the Government of India, is functioning under the administrative control of M/o Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation. This organisation has a Charter to build Group Housing Complexes for Central Govt. Employees (Priority I), State Government/PSU Employees (Priority II) and General public (Priority III) all over the country through various Self-Financing Schemes on ‘No Profit-No Loss’ basis as a welfare measure. CGEWHO has a strong legacy of completing 30 Housing schemes comprising of about 14000 flats in various cities in India. CGEWHO is governed by a General Body, Governing Council and Executive Committee comprising of Secretary & Additional/ Jt. Secretaries of Govt. of India.

Our Organisation has started a Housing Scheme at Greater Noida (NCR) comprising of 2130 dwelling units and is located at Plot No. 7, in Sector P-4 (Phi-2, Builders Area, Near Unitech Heights, Greater Noida). The per sq.ft. rate has been approved as Rs.3719/- including one free covered car parking for these dwelling units and accordingly cost in the range of Rs. 25 Lacs to 78 Lacs appx. More so, there are no additional charges for PLC, Lease rent, floor charges, EEC, FFC and Club membership. The plans for the housing complex have already been approved by the Greater Noida authority and construction of flats has commenced. At present there are some vacant dwelling units in 2, 3 & 4 bedrooms categories (Type ‘B’, ‘C’ & ‘D’) and the same are available for subscription on first come – first serve basis. Employees of your esteemed organisation may avail the benefit of these attractively priced dwelling units. Details of flats for each configuration and prices are available in Greater Noida housing scheme brochure available at CGEWHO website at www.cgewho.in. A copy of recent advertisement is enclosed as Annexure I for your perusal & also for wide circulation in your office.

I would also like to apprise you about certain features, specifications and advantages of CGEWHO flats over the Private Builders which have been detailed in Annexure II enclosed with this letter. ABOUT SCHEME

The project comprises of 2130 dwelling units being constructed in an area of 30 acres (approximately) out of 38 acres land available with CGEWHO. Though major part of the DUs are already subscribed there are few vacancies in B, C \& D types of DUs. Applications are invited as per CGEWHO Rules for allotment in CGEWHO’s Housing Scheme at Greater Noida for the following types of dwelling units ‘ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVE’ BASIS:-

Interested applicants may obtain the brochure containing the rules of Allotment for CGEWHO’s Greater Noida housing Scheme on payment of Rs. 100/- in cash or through Bank Draft in favour of CEO, CGEWHO payable at New Delhi, from any of the following locations:
i) CGEWHO’s Head Office at New Delhi.
ii) By downloading from CGEWHO’s official website (www.cgewho.in). In such a case, Rs. 100/-may be added towards cost of Application Form.
