This notification announces the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Second Amendment Rules, 1973, which modify the existing rules regarding government servants’ conduct. Key changes include clarifying the definition of ’employment’ to include negotiation for employment and establishing reporting requirements for property transactions exceeding specified values based on the employee’s class. Prior sanction from the prescribed authority is required for transactions with individuals having official dealings with the government servant or those not made through regular dealers. The rules came into effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.
