Central Civil Services (Conduct) Amendment Rules, 1986

This notification introduces amendments to the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964. The key change involves an increase in financial limits within Rule 18, sub-rule (3). Specifically, the figures ‘Rs.2,000/-‘ and ‘Rs.1,000/-‘ are to be replaced with ‘Rs.5,000/-‘ and ‘Rs.2,500/-‘ respectively. These new rules will take effect upon their official publication in the Gazette of India.
