This notification introduces amendments to the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964. The key changes revolve around Rule 18, specifically requiring government servants to obtain prior sanction from the prescribed authority before entering into certain transactions. This requirement applies when such transactions involve individuals with whom the government servant has official dealings. These amendments are set to take effect upon their official publication in the Gazette.
