This document details amendments to the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965. Specifically, it concerns changes within the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the roles and designations within the Posts and Telegraphs Department. The amendments redefine positions within the Directorate General of Posts and Telegraphs, substituting ‘Secretary, Posts and Telegraphs’ for previous designations. It also adjusts titles within the Posts and Telegraphs Accountants’ Service, replacing ‘Director (Staff), Posts and Telegraphs Directorate’ with ‘Secretary, Posts and Telegraphs Board’. These changes are enacted under the authority of Article 309 of the Constitution and Rule 33 of the existing Central Civil Services Rules.
