S.O. 2208.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 and couse (3) of article 148 of the cionstration, and after conanitation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India in relation to persons serving in the Indom Anill and Accouns Department, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Livil Services (Classfication, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, namely:-
- (1) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Amendment Rules, 1990.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette. - In rule 11 of the Central Livil Services (Classification. Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965 under the heading “Minor Penalties” after clause (iii), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
“(iia) reduction to a lower wage in the time scale of pay for a period not exceeding 3 years’ without cumulative effect and not adversely affecting his pension;”.
