This Office Memorandum details revisions to the Cadre Training Plan (CTP) applicable to the Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS). Specifically, it removes the provision of adding training marks to the Stenographers Examination for Grade ‘D’ positions and makes Level-II training mandatory for promotion to the PS grade under the seniority quota. All other terms and conditions of the previous OM dated 20.10.2011 remain in effect. The memorandum is directed to all Cadre Units of CSSS, the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management, and requests the NIC to upload the document to the Department’s website.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: – Cadre Training Plan (CTP) as applicable to the personnel of CSSS – reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 20.10.2011 on the subject mentioned above and to say that the provisions contained in the CTP has since been revisited by this Department and it has been decided to effect modifications as under:
(i) Foundation Course for Steno. Grade ‘D’: The provision that:
“Marks obtained by the candidates in the training shall be added to the marks obtained in the Grade ‘D’ Stenographers Examination conducted by SSC and a final ranking shall be assigned leading to seniority”
stands deleted; and
(ii) Level-II: Level-II training programme shall henceforth be mandatory and officials who participate and successfully complete their training programme shall only be considered for promotion to the grade of PS under the seniority quota.
- The other terms and condition of the OM dt. 20.10.2011 will remain unchanged.
