Cabinet Approval for Appointment and Deputation of Ms. A. Shainamol

C

In a significant move concerning government personnel, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has greenlit the appointment of Ms. A. Shainamol, an IAS officer from the 2007 Himachal Pradesh cadre, to the pivotal role of Director (Finance) at the Spices Board, located in Kochi, Kerala. This deputation is set for an extensive period of seven years, commencing from February 23, 2014, and concluding on February 22, 2021, or until further directives are issued. Notably, the standard ‘cooling off’ condition, typically required between central deputation stints, has been relaxed for this appointment. Additionally, the officer’s inter-cadre deputation to the State of Kerala has been retrospectively extended from February 22, 2019, until she officially took charge of her new position as Director (Finance) at the Spices Board, a decision made in compliance with orders from the Supreme Court.
