Availability status of ACRS/APARs of Under Secretaries of CSS in the zone of consideration for promotion to Selection Grade

A

This Office Memorandum from the Department of Personnel & Training addresses the availability status of Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) of Under Secretaries of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) who are being considered for promotion to Deputy Secretaries. The document notes that ACRs/APARs are missing for several officers and requests concerned Ministries/Departments to submit these documents urgently, with a deadline of May 11, 2012, as a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting is scheduled. An annexure lists the officers with missing reports and the periods for which the reports are outstanding, along with their current departments.

Subject: Availability status of ACRs/APARs of Under Secretaries of CSS in the zone of consideration for promotion to Selection Grade – regarding

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 30.04.2012, wherein the status about missing ACRs/APARs of Under Secretaries, who are in the zone of consideration for promotion as Deputy Secretaries of CSS, was brought to the notice of the concerned Ministries/Departments with the request to make available the documents to CS Division of DoPT by 04.05.2012.

  1. However, the ACRs/APARs in respect of a number of officers (as per the list annexed) are still to be received in CS Division of DoPT. The Ministries/Departments/officers concerned are once again requested to make available these documents to this Division immediately but not later than 11.05.2012 positively, as the DPC is scheduled to be meet shortly.

  2. This may please be treated as Most Urgent.
