Subject: Availability of ACRs/APARs of Under Secretaries to be considered for promotion.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No. 22/7/2012-CS.I (APAR) dated 18.04.2012 (copy enclosed) wherein the position of availability ACRs/APARs of Under Secretaries have been brought to the notice of the concerned Ministries/Departments with the request to make available the documents without further delay and to say that a proposal for preparing a panel for promotion to the grade of Deputy Secretary for SL 2010 (Supplementary) and 2011 is under process.

2. It has come to notice that ACRs/APARs/NRCs of some of the officers who are likely to be in the zone for consideration as mentioned in Annexure have not been received in this Department so far. Ministries/Departments concerned are requested to reconcile the statement with their records and bring to the knowledge of this department any discrepancy noticed. They are also requested to send the ACRs/APARs/NRCs of officers which have not yet been forwarded to this Department (as mentioned in the list) latest by 4th May, 2012. The concerned officers may also personally get the missing ACRs expedited so that their promotion is not affected for want of these documents.
