Subject : The Assured Career Progression Scheme for the Canteen Employees working in Non-Statutory Departmental Canteens/Tiffin Rooms located in Central Government Offices Implementation of SIU Report – Regarding.
The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even No. dated 13^{th } April, 2006 and subsequent O.M. of even No.14.1.2008 on the above subject and to say that references were received in this office seeking clarifications for grant of 2^{nd } financial upgradation to those Bearer and Tea/Coffee Maker, who are matriculate and completed 24 years of regular service upto 30.8.2008. 2. The issue of 2^{nd } financial upgradation has been further examined in consultation with Estt. Division of this Department and also in accordance with the Model Recruitment Rules circulated vide this Department’s O.M. No. 3/2/94-Dir.(C)(Vol.II), dated 14.2.2007. Since as per aforesaid Model Recruitment Rules, Matriculate Bearer/Tea-Coffee Maker is eligible for promotion to the grade of Clerk(Rs. 3050-4590) and further promotion to the grade of Asstt. Manager-cum-Storekeeper (Rs. 4000-6000), it has been decided in consultation with Estt. Division of DOPT to grant following standard pay scale to Matriculate Bearer/TeaCoffee Maker as given below :-
