This document conveys the approval for the premature repatriation of Dr. N. Rajamarthandan, IPS (AM:2006), Superintendent of Police, CBI, back to his parent cadre. Notably, the ‘cooling off’ period for this officer will be calculated from the date his normal deputation tenure in the CBI would have ended, rather than the actual date of repatriation. Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed to the premature repatriation of Dr. N. Rajamarthandan, IPS, (AM:2006), Supdt. of Police, CBI to his parent cadre with the direction that the ‘cooling off’ period in respect of the officer will be reckoned not from the date of actual repatriation but from the date on which the officer would have completed his normal deputation tenure in the CBI, as per IPS Tenure Policy.
