The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training has approved the induction of Shri Rakesh Asthana, IPS (GJ:1984) as Additional Director in the CBI for a period of four years. The Ministry of Home Affairs is requested to facilitate this deputation with the concerned State Government and issue necessary orders, keeping the Department and CBI informed. Approval of the Competent Authority is conveyed to the induction of Shri Rakesh Asthana, IPS (GJ:1984) as Additional Director, CBI for a period of 04 years from the date of assumption of charge of post.
- MHA is requested to take up the matter with the concerned State Government immediately in respect of the officer in order to enable him to join the CBI on deputation basis. Necessary orders may please be issued accordingly under intimation to this Department and CBI.
