Approval for Premature Repatriation of IPS Officer V Murugesan to Parent Cadre

This document conveys the approval from the Competent Authority for the premature repatriation of Shri V Murugesan, an IPS officer (UK:1997), who was serving as DIG in CBI. This repatriation is effective from May 31, 2014, and is in accordance with Para 13(1) of the IPS Tenure Policy. The ‘Cooling off’ period for this officer will be calculated as per the established IPS Tenure Policy. The approval has been communicated to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation. Copies of this approval have also been sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Director (Police) at MHA, and Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the DOPT website, along with the relevant file and guard file.

Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed to the premature repatriation of Shri V Murugesan, IPS (UK:1997), DIG, CBI to his parent cadre w.e.f. 31.05.2014 in terms of Para 13(1) of IPS Tenure Policy. The ‘Cooling off’ period in respect of the officer will be calculated as per IPS Tenure Policy.
