The competent authority has approved the premature repatriation of Shri C. Easwaramoorthy, IPS (TN:1998), DIG, CBI, to his parent cadre, effective from May 31, 2014. This decision is in accordance with Para 13(1) of the IPS Tenure Policy. The ‘Cooling off’ period for the officer will be calculated as per the existing IPS Tenure Policy. The communication is addressed to the Director, Central Bureau of Investigation, and copies are marked to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Director (Police) at MHA, and the Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the DOPT website. The file number and Guard File are also noted.
