This document conveys the approval for the premature repatriation of Shri Braja Kishore Singh, an IPS officer from the 2004 batch, serving as Superintendent of Police in the CBI. His return to his parent cadre has been sanctioned. Importantly, the ‘cooling off’ period for this officer will be calculated from the date he would have completed his standard deputation tenure in the CBI, as stipulated by the IPS Tenure Policy, rather than from the actual date of his repatriation. The letter also includes a copy to various authorities, including the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Ministry of Home Affairs (Police Division), and the NIC for updating the DOPT website, along with internal file references.
