The Central Government has granted approval for the inter-cadre deputation of Ms. Nidhi Patel, an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2018 batch. She will be transferring from the Himachal Pradesh cadre to the Rajasthan cadre. This deputation is approved for a period of three years, primarily due to extreme hardship, which necessitated a relaxation of the existing policy. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has been requested to ensure her immediate release and to submit a proposal for re-assessment of her situation well in advance of the three-year deputation period completion. Concurrently, the Government of Rajasthan is expected to provide a copy of the officer’s joining report.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the State Governments of Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, the Central Government hereby accords approval for inter cadre deputation of Ms. Nidhi Patel, IAS (HP:2018) from Himachal Pradesh cadre to Rajasthan Cadre, on grounds of extreme hardship, for a period of three years, in relaxation of policy.
