The competent authority has approved the induction of Shri Amrit Mohan Prasad, IPS (OR:1989) and Shri A.K. Sharma, IPS (GJ:1987) as Joint Directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for an initial period of 5 years. This decision has been communicated from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training. Copies of this approval have been sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the EO(SM-I)/DOPT, the Director (Police) at MHA, the Director (Technical) at NIC for website updates, and relevant files.
