Approval for Induction of IPS Officers to CBI on Deputation

This document announces the approval for the induction of four IPS officers into the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as Superintendents of Police. The deputation is for an initial tenure of 4 years, as per the IPS Tenure Policy of 2010. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is requested to liaise with the respective State Governments for the timely relieving of these officers so they can join the CBI. Necessary orders for this transfer should be issued promptly and intimated to the Department of Personnel and Training and the CBI. The document also includes a copy to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Director of CBI, the Director (Technical) of NIC for website updates, and internal file management.

The competent authority has approved induction of the following IPS officers as Superintendent of Police in CBI on deputation basis for an initial tenure of 4 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, as per IPS Tenure Policy, 2010 :-
(i) Shri Manish Kumar Sinha, IPS (AP:2000),
(ii) Shri Jasbir Singh, IPS (NL:2003),
(iii) Shri A.T. Durai Kumar, IPS (TN:2004),
(iv) Ms. Roopa M IPS (NL:2006).
2. MHA is requested to take up the matter with the concerned State Governments immediately for their relieving in order to enable them to join the CBI on deputation basis. Necessary orders may please be issued accordingly under intimation to this Department and CBI.
