Approval for Induction of Akhilesh Kumar Singh as DIG in CBI

An official order has been issued approving the induction of Shri Akhilesh Kumar Singh, an IPS officer from the 2003 batch, as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This appointment is for a period of five years, commencing from the date he assumes charge of the post. The order has been communicated to the Director (in-charge) of the CBI, with copies sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, DS (Police) at MHA, and the Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the DOPT website. The order is dated January 21, 2019.
