Approval for Curtailment of Tenure and Inter-Cadre Deputation of Shri Nalin Prabhat, IPS

A

In a significant administrative decision, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given its assent to a proposal affecting a senior Indian Police Service officer. The move involves two key aspects: the curtailment of tenure for Shri Nalin Prabhat, IPS (AP:92), from his role as Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG), and his subsequent inter-cadre deputation. Shri Prabhat will be moving from the Andhra Pradesh cadre to the AGMUT cadre. This deputation is initially for a period of three years from his joining date, or until further directives are issued, whichever comes first. Notably, the decision also includes a relaxation of the standard inter-cadre deputation guidelines, streamlining this crucial administrative transition.
