In a significant administrative decision, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has greenlit the transfer of a distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. Shri Rajesh Singh, an IAS officer from the 2007 batch, will be moving from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre to the Jharkhand cadre. This pivotal change was approved in adherence to the government’s policy specifically designed for physically handicapped individuals, which was established in 2014. Such strategic reallocations are vital for optimizing governmental operations and ensuring that administrative talent is deployed effectively across various states, aligning with both policy directives and the needs of public service.
