The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of Shri Ashwin Shenvi, IPS, Ms. Sudha Singh, IPS, and Shri Ashok Kumar, IRS, to the position of Joint Director at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The appointments are effective from the date of assumption of charge, with tenures of five and seven years respectively, or until further orders, whichever occurs first.

ORDER
Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) is hereby conveyed for the following:-
i. Appointment of Shri Ashwin Shenvi, IPS (HR:2006), presently working as DIG, CBI as Joint Director, CBI from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of five years upto 06.09.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
ii. Appointment of Ms. Sudha Singh, IPS (OD:2006), presently working as DIG, CBI as Joint Director, CBI from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of seven years upto 28.07.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier; and
iii. Appointment of Shri Ashok Kumar, IRS(C\&IT:2006), presently working as DIG, CBI as Joint Director, CBI from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of seven years upto 29.01.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
