The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of several IPS officers as Joint Directors in the CBI. These appointments include Shri S. Veeresh Prabhu, Shri Rajiv Ranjan, Ms. Sumedha Dwevedi, Shri Vijayendra Bidari, and Ms. Sharada Raut. Each officer will serve as Joint Director from the date of assuming charge, for a tenure of five or seven years, depending on the individual, or until further orders, whichever comes first.

Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet is hereby conveyed
for:
(i) Appointment of Shri S. Veeresh Prabhu, IPS (MH:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI, as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of five years upto 13.10.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(ii) Appointment of Shri Rajiv Ranjan, IPS (SK:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI, as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of five years upto. 30.05.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(iii) Appointment of Ms. Sumedha Dwevedi, IPS (HP:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI, as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of five years upto 07.02.2029 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(iv) Appointment of Shri Vijayendra Bidari, IPS (TN:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI, as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of seven years upto 18.07.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
(v) Appointment of Ms. Sharada Raut, IPS (MH:2005), presently working as DIG, CBI, as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of seven years upto 25.07.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
