The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Anurag, IPS (TR:94), and Shri Manoj Sashidhar, IPS (GJ:94), as Additional Directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Shri Anurag’s appointment is effective until July 24, 2023, coinciding with the completion of his seven-year tenure or until further orders. Shri Manoj Sashidhar’s appointment is for a period of three years from the date of assuming charge, or until further orders.

Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) is hereby conveyed for Appointment of
i. Shri Anurag, IPS(TR:94), Joint Director, CBI to the post of Additional Director in CBI from the date of assumption of charge of the post for a period till 24.07.2023 i.e. completion of his 7 years tenure or until further orders, whichever is earlier; and
ii. Shri Manoj Sashidhar, IPS (GJ:94), Joint Director, CBI to the post of Additional Director in CBI for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
