ORDER

Consequent upon appointment of officers of State Civil Services to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2017 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/08/2018-AIS-(I) B dated 12.07.2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Himachal Pradesh vide their letter No. Per(A-I)B(15)-11/75-IV dated 20.7.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

Name of the Officer (S/Shr/Sm) Date from which holding continuous service in the State Civil Service not below the rank of Deputy Collector or equivalent. Completed year of service rendered in the State Civil Service not below the rank of Dy. Collector or equivalent till 31st December of the year for which the meeting of the committee to make selection was held to prepare the Select List on the basis of which the said officers were appointed to IAS (Fractions if any, are to be ignored) i.e. on 31.12.2017. Total weightage in years in terms of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 as amended from time to time Year of allotment entitled in IAS Name, year of SL and YCA of the officer in PQ (SCS), immediately senior to the one whose name is in column no. 62 Year of Allotment assigned in IAS

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 2 in the Select List of 2017 shall be placed below Shri Harikesh Meena, a junior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Ms. Debasweta Banik, senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Himachal Pradesh Cadre.
