ORDER
Consequent upon his inclusion in the USSL-2014 vide DoPT’s O.M. No.5/2/2015-CS.I(U) dated 14.09.2015, Shri T.D. Prashanth Rao (CSL No.8404) is posted as Under Secretary to Ministry of Defence, with immediate effect and until further orders.
- The period the officer remained under posting in this Department i.e. from 17.12.2015 (AN) till issue of this order is treated as ‘Compulsory Wait’ and pay and other allowances for this period will be paid to the officer by Ministry of Defence.

The promotion of the officer is subject to the condition that he is clear from vigilance angle in terms of this Department’s O.M. No.22034/4/2012-Estt.(D) dated 2.11.2012 and other relevant instructions on the subject. Copy of notification for appointment in the grade of US should be endorsed to this Department for record.
