No………………Consequent upon declaration of inclusion of the following name as ‘Unconditional and final’ by the Union Public Service Commission through its letter no. F. No. 6/3/2014-AIS dated 02.05.2016 in the Select List of 2011, as per the details given alongside the name, which was notified through this department’s notification no. 14015/04/2015-AIS(I)-A dated 14.01.2016 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 8(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 read with Regulation 9(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955 and Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954, the President is pleased to appoint following member of the State Civil Service of Bihar to the Indian Administrative Service against the vacancies determined by Government of India under Regulation 5(1) of the said Regulations in consultation with the State Government for the Select List year 2011 (SCS) on probation until further orders and to allocate him to the Bihar cadre, under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954:

- The above appointment is subject to final outcome of the LPA No. 435/2016 filed by the State government against the Order dated 18.12.2015 of the Hon’ble High court, Patna in CWJC No. 3194/22014 filed by Shri Jitendra Kumar Singh challenging the disciplinary proceedings initiated on 15.01.2014
- The appointment of the officer mentioned above will take effect from the date of issue of this notification.
