This appointment involves a lateral shift from his current position as Director at the Central Detective Training Institute in Kolkata. ORDER
Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) is hereby conveyed for induction of Shri Bhanwar Lal Meena, IPS (AM:2013), on lateral shift basis, from current deputation post of Director, Central Detective Training Institute (under BPR\&D), Kolkata to the post of Superintendent of Police (SP), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a combined period of 5 years i.e., upto 18.04.2028 from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders whichever is earlier.
